This Phenomena occurs when the voices of a Spirit interrupt an Electro Magnetic Field (E.M.F's), by using audio, digital tape or a micro cassette recorder to expose these voices that before could not be heard by a human ear.
It is the same concept as a person blowing a dog-whistle, the dog in this case being the audio recorder. As we all know we cannot hear the whistle because the frequency is so high. The dog can because its ear drum is designed for hearing higher frequencies.
The audio recorder uses magnets to record onto tape when an Electro Magnetic field is interrupted such as when paranormal activity occurs.

In this clip on an investigation of the Joplin spook light I was part of a team of investigators and the clip capture here was capture on my recorder sitting on the side of the road.....no one in this group of investigators speak Native American tongue but the disembodied voice was captured.

Sometimes during an investigation, such as this one, other teams come into the room during your time, so in order to NOT contaminate the EVPS I decided to have the people in the room call out there name and at the end I captured a disembodied voice call our their name too. It is a class B so listen closely it is after the 4th person says her name and there were only 5 people in the room or was there another unseen entity?
