Julie, Shayna, Debbe and two guest investigator Clarissa and Laura went to Quapaw Oklahoma in search of the infamous spook light.  

When we arrived on 50 Hwy at 10:45pm, to our surprise the spook light was in the distance, glowing bright yellow, then to red, blue and then back yellow, it appeared to be going from one side of the road to the other, it appeared to move closer to us then back further down the road. 

Our team has discovered through past investigations contrary to myths and here say, the spook light appears with in the first 2 to 3 miles on Devils Promanade Rd.  CCPRS has captured the spook light at least 4 to 5 miles near an old farm house, the position is to have the flashing red light for the radio tower positioned just above to the right of the road, the spook light will appear below to the left of the flash light whn lined up with the road called old 50 hwy or Devils Promanade Rd.  

CCPRS team members after spotting the spook light in this postion as before, we drove with our lights off with only a flash light stuck out our window to guide us in the darkness, as we slowly moved closer to the spook light, the road dips down and the back up, as we topped the small incline in the raod the spook light disappears. Once the light disappeared, we got out of the car and turned around from where we had come and the light is now behind us.  We drive about another mile down the road to turn around, all the while keeping a very close eye on the spook light again as we dip down the incline in the road, once again, the light appears behind us.  Just as those who have experienced the spook light have reported over the years. Since the spook light moves from one side of the road to the other, to capture a photo without movement is very difficult however we managed to capture a few.

NO EVPS were collected during this investigation. 

Investigators Debbe, Julie and Shayna drove the three hour ride from Kansas City Missouri to 15 miles outside of Joplin to see the famous ball of light that dances across the road that has been report since 1840.  Many stories surround this anomaly ball of light and on May 30, 2009 this group captured the most creditable video and digital video ever recorded.

Had we not gotten lost on the back road between 50 and 40 and ended up in Quapaw Ok totally lost for an hour and half we might have missed it all....by the time we found our way back to spook light road it was 2am....we sat for and hour and half on the road when a man and his girlfriend pulled up next to our car and said your not in the right spot if you want to see the spook light follow me so we  followed his tail lights in the pitch black night and parked along side of the road and to our very eyes at 3:48am the light appear...the clips you are about to see, is the first taken by a digital camera so we were unable to zoom in as close as when we used a video camera that kept shutting off so this is what we captured...we could not wait to share this so hold on to your key boards.....

These next videos are a local man and his girlfriend talking about the spook light and the one who took us to the actual location of the spook light and some of the local folklore. Where the spook light is located when seen is always just below a blinking light of a radar tower so the blinking light is NOT the spook light it is just below the blinking light and I encourage you as boring as it may get to go to the very end you will see a close up of the light and the details within the light almost like an eye and facets of different colors, it will zoom forward at us and then back away as it repeats the many time and later the light splits in two and both contain the same anomalies as the other so please be patient to you get towards the last 5 mins, we also chased it in our car.... the group chased the spook light after it ends up behind us, at first the light was in front of us and when we got in the car to move closer as we went down a hill be the time we got up the next hill top it appeared behind us....
