Child Ghosts
The basic understanding that Spirits are simply disembodied humans; humans who have elected to remain here , having failed or refused to go the light . Spirits that have remained earthbound; some spirits willingly, while other spirits unwittingly.
CCPRS has found that the spirits of children will often be brought to us for spirit rescue when we are working to help other lost souls.
Spirits of Children
The Spirits of children are different then the older counter parts of the spirit world, we need to step down our approach to their level of reasoning. We would try to help them as I would an adult spirit, but we have since learned, wisely by someone else that our method was a bit much for a child who just wants to find their mommy.
Most children who are lost are easy to reason with. Typically, we like to first acknowledge that we know the child spirit is here and that we want to help him or her. So, our next question is to usually ask for a name. When we feel we have communication going back and forth with the child spirit, it is a natural thing to ask if they are looking for a specific someone.
It is good to explain that the light is where the lost spirit needs to go to be with their loved ones. Try and describe the light a happy place that is fun and enjoyed with family and friends. Use whatever works to convince the spirit she or he needs to be there and not here - which is their past.
This sometimes works . With all lost spirits, try and step into their shoes, to understand the reason behind the spirit is remaining here. You are the bridge between both worlds, guide yourself!
Some spirits will remain on the earthly plane because of murder or trauma while they were alive, and want to communicate this to us. Spirits want to get your attention and let you know that they are there, and they thrive on your responses and emotions. Sometimes simply ignoring them & pretending you don’t know they are there will send them on their way. When you feel or see their presence, you need to speak to them out loud, just like you would if you were speaking to a live person.
Remember, the Spirit thinks it is still alive. They are existing on a different realm that is less physical than we exist on. When you speak to the Spirit, explain politely that they are causing discord in your home & that you would appreciate it if they would respect your need for living in a happy home.
If they persist, they may have a reason. They may be trying to communicate something to you, but I DO NOT recommend trying to communicate with them, because an inexperienced person may make errors that will open up a portal.
Cleansing the Home
For some stubborn Spirits you may want to cleanse your home to get rid of them. Holy water is a good tool whether you are of Christian faith or not. Get everywhere in the home, closets, doorways, basements, attics, etc. And don’t forget outside too. If you’re of Christian faith, saying a prayer to bless your house works well. Many people have claimed success by using The Lord’s Prayer while splashing the holy water.
Any prayer will usually work as long as you have the faith that your god will protect you.
Another method, burning sage is another great way. You can usually get sage from a local metaphysical supply store, or even sage incense will work well. Open all of the windows of your house, light the sage & walk all over your house covering every room, doorway, corner, basement, attic, etc. And instruct these spirits that they need to leave your home & move on into the light.
NEVER CHALLENGE A GHOST, because some will give you a run for your money. Just speak loud and clear and make your intentions firmly known.
Light a white candle & let it burn, and visualize in your mind of your home being Spirit free. The power comes more from you & belief, not necessarily your words. It may be necessary to repeat this process more than once.
Another method, Mirrors, have even worked for some people. Placing mirrors all around the home has been reported to help for some.
The key is to have faith in your goal of freeing the Spirit & speak firmly, but lovingly, & most important, when you speak to this Spirit, explain to them that their time here on earth is up & they must go into the light. And leave and do NO harm.
One other thing of importance, some spirits are stubborn and may not want to leave especial those of a child spirt, it maybe a case where you and the child spirt may have to co-exist which can be done, it is a matter of setting clear boundries as if you would with any child, spirit or human.
