Waldron Missouri aka Zombie Road
Waldron is an unincorporated community in southwestern Platte County, Missouri. It is not located on a highway, but is about two miles southwest of the Interstate 435 and Route 45 interchange. It is about five miles west of the Kansas City, Missouri city limits.
History information on the land reports it has been flooded several times since 1900 to1992. The newspaper reports a Plane crashed in field between Waldron and Farley on 1/18/2009 - pilot died. Information collected from Annals of Platte County, Missouri
Founded in 1858, the community is heavily wooded and not the most convenient of locations to reach. The south side of the gravel road drops off steeply into a valley along side the river, which is used primarily by the railroads.
The north side of the gravel road is a heavily wood steep hill. In fact, the north side of the city used to be the old Missouri River bank until the levees were formed. After driving a couple of miles down a dark, rough gravel road, the road becomes paved and runs in a circle which encompasses the community of Waldron.
This is the portion of the road known as "Zombie Road" partly because it is dark, the gravel creates a fog, and hobos coming off and boarding the trains that have stopped. At the west end of the community is the tiny post office, this serves as the team's turnaround location.

The maps below were other information gather by researching the Missouri Archives. The maps show the layout of the land between 100 to 1920.
THE FIRST INVESTIGATION:
Our first night investigation started at 9:56 pm on Saturday, March 21, 2009.
The community has several buildings, which from the outside appear to be abandoned and empty. Team members took several photos of these various homes.
As members were taking pictures of one home in particular, a form, what appeared to be a person (in fact was initially mistaken for a resident of the community) standing behind the team vehicle was witnessed by team members.
The figure stood there and then disappeared. Five other team members, closer in proximity to the figure, did not see it. It was after these experiences those photographs taken produced several interesting orb photos.
Along the road, a sudden appearance of dense hanging fog in front of the car was witnesses by two members, followed immediately by a drastic temperature fluctuation that was experienced by the entire team.
The NOAA does not have a classification of fog that would follow the local weather conditions for the night.
Photographs taken by the team members show a dense fog along the side of the road as the team departed the community. Over the hill east of the town a fire appeared in a large vertical flame.
While addressing the wooded area surrounding the fire, a rough distinctly male voice responded in two distinct syllables. An audio recording captured the sounds responding to the calling of one of our investigators were captured. EMF readings remained normal despite the digitally recorded sounds of sound steps, other noises, and a very loud clicking sound.
At all times other team members were spotting the area to make sure no person, animal, etc. approached the team without being documented. Debbe sensed the taste of sulfur at this location.
So what IS out there? We can share several stories of previous experiences from team members in this area. It may never be known for sure what it is. What we can tell you is that after some further daytime investigation by the lead investigators located at least 4 very old cemeteries surrounding the small community of Waldron.
According to one of the current residents of the community, the city had suffered a major fire at the turn of the century encompassing over 1/2 of the community. The city has also experienced several floods from the Missouri river; several plane crashes, including one last year in which the pilot died, and another crash in the last couple of months; and was a hang-out for Jesse James and other criminals, in part due to its location and inaccessibility.
The team intends to do some more investigation into these cemeteries, and investigators and Debbe and Julie were going to do some more investigation into the community itself through historical archives and talking with members of the community.
This was a most interesting investigation which gave us much evidence to evaluate and hypothesize over for some time! Further investigations into the buildings, community itself, and the road will be forthcoming by the team.
The team still considers this to be an on-going investigation.

Sometimes on an investigation things happen and then the laughter begins. This clip is just one of the things that happen on investigations, someone sees something and others don't...it can get boring at times but then sometimes you just get so silly......

The clip captured happened only when the car was stopped and the recorder was outside the window...some are just whispers that you cannot understand, however clip4 took me by surprise it is a class A to B at the time the car was stopped see middle picture of house below in center, this was captured at night I had the recorder was outside the window, you can hear whispers then a sigh then a voice very close to recorder.
