OCTOBER 10th, 2009

CCPRS is hosted an investigation for Jennifer Wilkerson Oct 10th at the famous John Wornall House and Museum.

This is a very special occasion, Kate from Wornall House ask us to host an investigation for her sister who is having a birthday at the Wornall House.  CCPRS will have periodic music as well as men and women dressed in attire set for this era.  We will break off into 5 groups with CCPRS team as lead on the investigation.  Shanna will be placed one on one with a team member as her reward for winning the raffle.

Oct 10th the Winner of the Raffle Shanna O.  Here is some info about the winner:
Shanna grew up in Liberty, and graduated from Liberty High School.  As a child, Shanna had some experiences that have always wondered if it was paranormal or not.  Shanna has always had an interest in the paranormal and the unknown wondering why some spirits move on and why some stay Earth bound. Shanna also likes to find ways to communicate with the spirits and helping them if they seek help.   Shanna would love to go on more investigations if and when possible.

Investigators: Julie, Debbe, Shayna, Jesse, Michael, Lauren and Deb, Forrest, Cuffy, Carl Anderton (Banjo) Jeri and Glen.

Jennifer Wilkerson and Party Guest on a Ghost Hunter

Picture
CCPRS team members arrived at 6:30 pm Oct 10th, the temperature was 46 degrees and mild wind. Kate introduced us to Jennifer who was celebrating her 28th birthday.  While the guests were arriving Forrest, Mike, Cuffy, Carl entertained the guests who were arriving between 7-7:30pm with periodic music and jokes.   Deb was dressed in bonnet, long dress with hoops and a knitted shawl.  CCPRS set up equipment and game plan for investigation with 20, 18 to 28 year olds experienced how to be a paranormal investigator from CCPRS, things such as how to conduct and investigation and to see if they could have some personal experiences to take home with them.

CCPRS decide to locate one investigator on each floor of the house and two in the carriage house.  They guest were to go from one floor with an investigator and then move on the next location. We did this for about 3 hours. So that everyone had the chance in each area of the house as well as in the carriage house.

Some of the personal experiences were Debbe's team was in the parlor and when asking for a knock or tapping by the group, the door knob behind Debbe began to shake and jiggle for what seemed like at least 2 mins then stopped.  Other personal experiences were high E.M.F’s in the carriage house in different locations of each room, different readings with each small group.  The tables in the carriage house vibrated and them fell to the floor during one investigation.  Others reported shadows and tapping noises.  CCPRS thinks over all considering the amount of hunters in and out and around the property we had good results. And a good time was had by all.

CCPRS would like to thank everyone for participating and making this event a very good one for everyone involved.  I encourage all Jennifer's friends please post any experiences they would like to share and Thanks again to Kate for allowing us the wonderful opportunity. Please include photos as well.

Happy Birthday Jennifer and enjoy the CCPRS t-shirt!

October 10th, 2009 Investigation

Investigation Reports:

Wornall Home Investigation-Prepared by Mike.CCPRS participated in a Birthday celebration at the historic Wornall Home; scene of the Battle of Westport during the later part of the Civil War.  The home served as a hospital for the care of both Union and Confederate forces alike.  Doubtless the stress and terror of that time left an impression on the structure.  The main theme of the Birthday Party was to investigate to see, if indeed, the spirits of 1864 resided in the home today. We divided those attending the party into groups, and we rotated the groups through the various rooms of the home.  Forrest and I were the Lead Investigators of our group, consisting of my wife (DJ), my daughter (Lauren), Kyle “Cuffy” Pretzl, Carl & Jeri Anderton, and Glen Graham.  We had digital cameras, digital voice recorders and two KII meters.  Our first room to investigate was the kitchen.  We had turned all the lights off in the house, so we entered the pitch black room, waiting for our eyes to adjust.  We begin talking to any spirit people in the room, inviting them to talk into the recorders as we also took picture of the room.  DJ had one of the KII meters and Forrest had his and was on the opposite side of the room.  We were getting no EMF readings at all from the KII meters.  Forrest placed his on the window ceil and it lit up.  Kyle suggested that possibly the heater coming on made the meter react so we moved it to the table and started getting solid interaction.  I asked if we should leave the room and both Forrest’s and DJ’s KII meters fully lit indicating that what or whomever was there wanted us to leave.  We took our leave and conducted the rest of our investigation without incident.
As always  during a John Wornall investiation the carriage house seems to hold the most paranormal activity.  The evidence of High EMF readings always surprises us.  CCPRS has tried many times to debunk the high EMF readings i the carriage house.  Each time we enter the top of the stairs the EMF detectors both visual and audio detectors are a giving high readings, it seems that the hits are not in the same spot everytime.
The carriage holds paranormal activity. At one point during the investigation Debbe took a group of 6 in the parlor, while investigation was about to rap up, all of heard a noise, we all turned around to look at the door knob that was turning it seems on it own accord,  it continue this activity for approx. 5 to 6 secs and then stopped.  Debbe went the door and opened it, no one was on the other side nor did we capture any footsteps on audio to indict somone of human form had tried to open the door.  All agree the door knob moving back and forth was not done by anyone in the room or outside the room.
While in the acrriage house with another 6 people, the door between 2 room rattled in response to the questions being asked, at the ime the door began to rattle, we had a positive hit on the EMF detector.  We could not debunk the rattling, no wind was indicted, no breeze detected.

Video camera set up in the dinning room did not capture any kind of paranormal activity.

Due to the amount of people in and outside the house, most of the EVP's were contaminated by outside influences.  Below are the best EVP cpatured with out contamination.  CCPRS would like to invite Jennifer and her group on the next investigation of the John Wornall House, Kate offered us another investigation in the next coming months.

May 9th 2009 Investigation

Update from May 9th Investigation: Due to the influences  of outside noise and a very busy house during the earlier hours of the day, we feel as a team alot of the evidence was contaminated by outside influences and have decided to schedule a new investigation at a later time. We thank Kate for all here time and effort during the investigation it had been a very busy day with lots of children rounding around in the house and women in their long flowing gowns.

Shayna felt a push from behind in the childrens room. Debbe experienced the front door knob turn just before she touched it, no one was on the other side and Shayna tried to debunk the experiences, but ended up have the same experiences as Debbe, door knob was very cold.  Julie got touched in the entry way near the stairs. Julie witnessed the hanging light above the stairs swinging in a circular motion and took pictures see below.  Below are pictures with what looks to be a face in the window, we have unexplained mists in the garden and some circular objects in the photos.

These pictures are unexplained images the first one is the window outside the carriage house, I took this picture as the snow was falling..but look in the window it "appears" to be a figure of a woman in a blue dress and blonde hair. The other photo I took was also standing outside in the falling snow my camera is pointed to the area in which the soldiers wounded in battle were laid in order to see which ones needed to moved to the house and which ones were too late to help and died on the field near the tree. It "appears" to be the figure of a civil war soldier to the left center and a lantern to the right...it is paranormal? I cannot explain the imagines in the photos and I cannot say with certainty there are paranormal but considering the history and the EVPs I would say it looks pretty paranormal to me but you be the judge!
